BARBARA IN A NUTSHELL
I was born in Toronto/Canada, to Swiss parents. At the age of one we moved to Switzerland and I did all my education there.
My base is in the beautiful Swiss Alps, which is my Happy Place. As a world traveler I call many places my spiritual home. Amongst others Argentina, Bali and Mexico. For several years I have lived and worked in Toronto.
For 17 years I owned and ran a boutique marketing communications agency in Bern/Switzerland. In 2017 I decided to follow my heart and make my passions my life. I have since certified as a Yoga teacher (500 hours), Thai Yoga Massage therapist and have studied Slings Myofascial Training® and Body Reading with art of motion (contemporary movement education). Further I have trained in the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Michael A. Singer and Dr. Joe Dispenza.
My approach to life is that there is a solution to every problem, no matter how big it is or seems to be. I am able to quickly grasp what is at hand and can instantly connect the dots and create a path for the solution to happen. This ability also helps me to unite people and ideas to create a space for inclusivity and growth on a larger scale.
I am very passionate about everything I do and graciously share my story. I don’t see myself as a guru but as a life guide and friend.
During my 3-month-sabbatical in 2021/22 – traveling all over Mexico – I have certified as an Open Water Scuba Diver. A newfound passion that has opened up a whole new universe from which I draw a lot for my daily life and work.
Communication is the main key to everything in my life. My mother tongue is Swiss German. I also speak German, English, Spanish and French.

ABOUT THE TURTLE
The very first time I saw a turtle while diving in Mexico I instantly connected with this amazing animal. It was love at first sight.
The turtle – or tortuga as it’s called in Spanish – is one of the most important animals in the Mayan mythology. It symbolizes the alliance of water and earth. The turtle stands for longevity, perseverance, steadfastness, protection, retreat, healing, tranquility and transformation.
